Ernie Willis plead guilty to one count felonious sexual assault.  Ernie Willis continues to maintain the sex he had with Tina was consensual.  Willis denies that he forced Tina into having sex with him.  He also denies that he had sex with her more than one time. The trial will commence Monday, May 23, 2011 for the remaining charges of three counts of forcible rape.

Willis defense is not unusual.  Many rapists and molesters blame the victim for their crimes. here  here  Rapists tend to blame the devil, 5 year old children,  anything but themselves for their crimes.Pastor Chuck Phelps made Tina stand before the congregation of Trinity Baptist Church, Concord NH in October 1997 to apologize for “putting herself in a compromising situation” after she was found with child.  Tina was then sent to a church were Phelps had previously been employed as a youth pastor in Colorado where she gave birth to her baby.  The baby was given up for adoption.  Tina reports that while she was in Colorado, another pastor Matt Olson, made Tina write a letter to her rapists wife apologizing for breaking his wife’s trust.
